We've only owned two and only seen three or so in over 45 years in the business. This sign is 1890's. Print is signed "ENTERED ACCORDING TO ACT OF PARLIMENT OF CANADA IN THE YEAR 1894 BY JOHN LABATT IN THE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE". Poster lists their achievements of 10 gold, silver and bronze medals & 11 diplomas awarded at the Worlds Exhibitions. Poster was made by BARKLAY,CLARKE & CO. LITHO. TORONTO. Framed size is 42" in height X 30" in width. Original frame. Image size is 36" in height X 24" in width. The print is in excellent condition with just a bit of foxing on the border. The ship is the FREDERIK VIII built in 1913 by Vulcan Stettiner Maschinenbau A.G. for the Scandinavian American Line.The sign is referred to as self framed tin as it is one piece of tin including frame. The sign itself was made by The Mettallograph Corporation New York. The frame and molded corners protruding out are embossed. Beautiful image of a ship arriving in a busy harbour probably New York City, with passengers on the deck, several ships in the harbour. Beautiful tin litho sign. Minor dent near bottom border.

Some extra holes in the border, more in center section. Finish is dull with some wear spots. Overall a nice early oyster sign that still displays very well with great colors.

CIRCA 1950'S (POSSIBLY EARLIER) SHOE STORE WINDOW AUTOMATON OF A KITTEN IN A SLIPPER. Measures 19" in length X 12" in height X 6 1/2" in width. This would of sat in the window of a shoe store to draw customers into the store. Little kitten is adorable. he has glass eyes, his head rocks back and forth and his mouth opens & closes. He has long soft fur and is in perfect working order. There is a trap door on back to access inner workings. Automatons were made to lure customers into your store and are quite rare. Kittens tiny nose is missing.

Print measures 35" in length X 23 1/2" in width. Mahogany frame measures 40 1/4" in length X 29" in width. It is artist signed by Norman Wilkinson. Original frame has a few very tiny nicks in it.

DIET PEPSI TIN EMBOSSED CHALKBOARD.Measures 27 1/4" in length X 19 1/4" in width. "DIET PEPSI" is embossed. Marked Printed in Canada-Barker-67. We never see much Diet Pepsi advertising. Chalkboard has minor creases on edges and light overall wear. "BUVEZ DIET PEPSI" Fairly scarce piece.

RAILWAY EXPRESS AGENCY PORCELAIN SIGN. Measures 24" square. Has two small holes drilled in center of sign that we don't believe to be original. Porcelain has a couple of chips to top right of "X". Porcelain is shiny and bright.

American Airlines Advertising Sign
AMERICAN AIRLINES ADVERTISING SIGN. Measures 14" in diameter. Plastic & masonite with 4 small factory holes indicating that it possibly is off a rack of some sort. Airplane looks like a DC-3. Sign is somewhat faded so it may have been used outdoors. Neat piece. Has age cracking and minor chipping.

VAN CAMP'S PORK AND BEANS CELLULOID POCKET ADVERTISING MIRROR. Circa 1910. Great image of Van Camp's Dutch kids with an over sized can of Pork & Beans. Measures 2 1/8" in diameter. Mirror is perfect. These pocket mirrors were given away back in the day to remind people about their products..great little advertising item.
